About HAIRMEOUT!
Hair Me Out is an inclusive hair & beauty initiative founded by BraidedBySade. We exist to make haircare spaces more accessible, representative and genuinely welcoming — with a dedicated focus on disabled and neurodivergent people.

We bring specialist textured hair expertise together with sensory-aware practice, training and advocacy, so that people can feel safe, understood and supported in their everyday care.

How it started
Hair Me Out grew from the work of BraidedBySade — where clients and families regularly shared that they avoided mainstream salons, not because they didn’t want their hair done, but because they feared they wouldn’t be understood.

Sensory needs, communication differences, culture, hair type and past experiences can make traditional hair spaces feel overwhelming or unsafe. Through working closely with disabled and learning-disabled adults in education and community settings, it became clear that inclusive haircare shouldn’t be “extra” — it should be the standard.

Hair Me Out was created to bridge that gap: combining great hair with greater access, and building a future where everyone can feel comfortable, represented and cared for.

What we’re building
Hair Me Out is building a new kind of inclusive beauty model — where sensory-aware haircare, culturally competent practice and real opportunity pathways sit under one umbrella.
We’re developing this through what we deliver today: specialist services through BraidedBySade, inclusive mobile hair days, training and collaborations — all working towards our long-term vision of a Sensory Salon and community hub.
-
Inclusive services: calm, sensory-aware hair and beauty for Afro, textured and European hair — in homes, care settings and (in future) a dedicated salon space

-
Skilled, confident supporters: practical training for staff, carers and professionals in inclusive, sensory-aware and culturally competent haircare

-
Real pathways into opportunity: work experience, supported employment and “Inclusive Beauty” entrepreneur tracks for neurodivergent and disabled adults

Our values
About the Founder
Hair Me Out was founded by Sadè (BraidedBySade) — a specialist braider and textured hair stylist, educator and community practitioner with experience supporting disabled and neurodivergent adults.

Sadè combines professional hair expertise with a deep understanding of additional needs, communication differences and what true inclusion looks like in practice. Hair Me Out was created to prove that beauty spaces can be both culturally competent and sensory-aware — without compromise.

Through BraidedBySade and Hair Me Out, she is building an inclusive, scalable model that strengthens confidence, wellbeing and opportunity in the heart of local communities.
